I have a soft spot for Danganronpa, I just love the series so much 😅

I love dr 2 goodbye despair but i hate the body anatomy for women in this specific manga, it’s way to unrealistic and they completely changed everybody’s body type which I don’t like。 They changed almost all of the girls body’s except for like Hiyoko。 And they made some of the guys way skinnier than they were before, for an example, Nekomaru is like very buff or whatever but now he’s all of a sudden so much more skinner? Idk, just doesn’t sit right with me。 But one thing I like about it is that I love dr 2 goodbye despair but i hate the body anatomy for women in this specific manga, it’s way to unrealistic and they completely changed everybody’s body type which I don’t like。 They changed almost all of the girls body’s except for like Hiyoko。 And they made some of the guys way skinnier than they were before, for an example, Nekomaru is like very buff or whatever but now he’s all of a sudden so much more skinner? Was not expecting that ending!

Love Danganronpa, love Nagito, the manga just didn’t quite capture the magic of the game。 I still enjoyed it, though。 Cool art style, even if the girls’ proportions were even more unrealistic than in the game。

the game is better

I enjoyed the sleuthing aspect of the book, but I don’t think I got as much out of it since I have never played the games or read the first Danganronpa manga series。

I did enjoy reading this book before bed, but I do like the original more。 This book is the antagonist's point of view。 The book is about a group of teenagers sent to a school field trip on an island。 Turns out it's actually a killing game hosted by a black and white bear。 The original is the protagonist's point of view, and he survives the whole book series。 In this one though the antagonist died meaning it ended once he died。 I prefer to be able to read the whole killing game, so I'll have to I did enjoy reading this book before bed, but I do like the original more。 This book is the antagonist's point of view。 The book is about a group of teenagers sent to a school field trip on an island。 Turns out it's actually a killing game hosted by a black and white bear。 The original is the protagonist's point of view, and he survives the whole book series。 In this one though the antagonist died meaning it ended once he died。 I prefer to be able to read the whole killing game, so I'll have to look into finding the original。 。。。more

I like Danganronpa and Nagito, but the art looks weird。 Like the characters look stretched out and the girls skirts are so short that they probably can’t slightly bend without showing cheek。

Very interesting perspective of the events in this game。 Also love the physical covers so much!

Every DanganRonpa storyline is absolutely breathtaking, and my three-star review isn't a criticism of DanganRonpa so much as a strong preference for the videogames over the manga。That being said: While I was excited about the idea of a book that centers Nagito's perspective, I was a little disappointed in the lack of scenes in which Hajime isn't present。 I was expecting more original content that featured Komaeda's experiences and perspectives。 Additionally, the girls in the game were already se Every DanganRonpa storyline is absolutely breathtaking, and my three-star review isn't a criticism of DanganRonpa so much as a strong preference for the videogames over the manga。That being said: While I was excited about the idea of a book that centers Nagito's perspective, I was a little disappointed in the lack of scenes in which Hajime isn't present。 I was expecting more original content that featured Komaeda's experiences and perspectives。 Additionally, the girls in the game were already sexualized an uncomfortable amount; there was no need to sexualize them even further in the manga。 。。。more

The faces were extraordinary! I loved when it was the end of Nagito laughing everyone’s expressions were SO accurate! I also love how well they described the body language, and like I said The art gets funky at times but the stances and poses from the actual sprites were so great! Especially Ibuki’s and Mikan’s。 As a Pre-teen, I feel like this should be recommended for Pre-teens that have an understanding of Danganronpa。 Mainly because this is for 18+, but if you're able to handle gore and cursing I think that 13+ or even 12 or 11 year olds can handle Danganronpa。This book made me laugh, It made me cry, and it made me angry! Have you ever found a book that’ll make you question the villain's point of view? Because Danganronpa 2 in general has made me a BIG antagonist-person, just because of Nagito! (and a bit of Kokichi too。。) And seeing him as the main character in this book makes me SOOOOO happy! Although I can DEFINITELY not relate to Nagito, I have some similarities with him as well。 As a person who has been a fan of blood, gore, and mystery has left me loving Danganronpa! When I saw this at my local bookstore I was super excited to read this series, and I hope you can find love for it too! 🍀💚 。。。more

I love Danganronpa so much and honestly seeing a book from more of Nagito’s perspective was quite interesting。 Definitely didn’t go over as much as the game, which is to be expected since it would take so much time since each chapter takes a while to complete in the game。 I liked the art style too。 Some of the manga panels made me laugh, the way the faces were drawn just cracked me up。 But overall the book was good but compared to the game it lacked in some places。

Ah okay so I love Danganronpa, and I've been working on reading things that interest me more so I bought my first Manga!!! Agh it was amazing, the art is absolutely gorgeous, the characters all have so much depth。 I just wanna reread it 100 times 😭My only complaint is the hypersexualization but that happens in every manga。 Specifically Mikan, Sonia, Peko and Akane seemed to be victim to this。 Mikan especially Ah okay so I love Danganronpa, and I've been working on reading things that interest me more so I bought my first Manga!!! Luckily, the fact that this is from Komaeda's POV didn't make me vomit! Has really reinforced for me, however, that the second DR game and the cast of such is my favorite, no matter how deep my love for Ishimaru runs。 Luckily, the fact that this is from Komaeda's POV didn't make me vomit! It just。。。wasn’t as good as the game?Um。。the art style is pretty bland when compared to the games。。I guess I’m just not a fan of game to mangaOr game to anime*glances at persona 5*Ya。。。Um。。I guess the manga made from Nagito’s perspective was entertaining。 I love Nagito so it was good enough。。just wasn’t really necessary I feel。

Morgan Young

If I hadn’t played the game first, I would’ve had no idea what’s going on。 It’s not necessarily a bad adaptation, but the game was so flawless that this manga just can’t hold a candle to it。 It’s still really interesting to see things from Nagito’s point of view (especially since he’s my favorite character), and Monokuma’s dialogue is hilarious at some points。

Star!

It’s good, I liked the story

Robert Miller

It’s interesting and worth the read, but I felt like they ended it at a rather weird time, leaving me confused as to why the first one ended so early, which knocked it back a star。

I like to see how Nagito planed his murder and how he failed

This is getting 5 stars because it's Danganronpa and it's NAGITO KOMAEDA, my darling husband。 The artwork was weird at times (especially the female bodies and everyone's eyes) but I don't regret buying the volumes at all。 It's Komaeda! Pretty much this contains most of chapter 1 and gives you a deep insight of Nagito's insanity。 If you are new to the game, it's not for you, because it doesn't care about the investigation or the trial and it won't give you a sense of satisfaction for solving the This is getting 5 stars because it's Danganronpa and it's NAGITO KOMAEDA, my darling husband。 The artwork was weird at times (especially the female bodies and everyone's eyes) but I don't regret buying the volumes at all。 It's Komaeda! If you have played the game this is mostly useless but for people just getting Into danganronpa that know nothing this is a great way to start and it makes danganronpa 1 feel more like a prequel。

"I truly do。。。 have good luck。。。"When I first saw this book at my local book store, I pretty much threw myself on it。 It was Danganronpa, I had to have it。 It was later that I realized that this wasn't just the second game in book form, but the second game in a different point of view。 Nagito was definitely one of the most interesting character so I was curious。This one is definitely not good for people who haven't played the game。 It cuts down on the whodunit part of the story (throwing spoiler "I truly do。。。 have good luck。。。"When I first saw this book at my local book store, I pretty much threw myself on it。 It was Danganronpa, I had to have it。 It was later that I realized that this wasn't just the second game in book form, but the second game in a different point of view。 Nagito was definitely one of the most interesting character so I was curious。This one is definitely not good for people who haven't played the game。 It cuts down on the whodunit part of the story (throwing spoilers on who the killer is) to focus on Nagito and his messed up mind。 I'm all over this。 。。。more
